This web site constitute a informational database over trees species.
It was realiased during my Diploma thesis. In fact the web site represent the resulted work.
I have used in creating it PHP, MySql and Apache.
The database was realised from various pieces of information from different sources like
books, other projects and the Internet. A lot of time was spent in organizing all
the information in such a way to be as comprehensive as possible.
The information is perfectible and that's why we encourage the members to add more
information or to modify the existent one.

The Quercus species from Romania occupy a very important place in our databse. Mainly all the
romanian oak specie are described here as good as possible. Some data may be old fashioned but
is not my fault. The information about oak species in romania are old and few updates were available.
